I bought this product as I'd been told by a few people that MooGoo is great.
I gave it a try on DS2's eczema prone cheeks and I have to admit that after several applications the redness was certainly far less pronounced and his little cheeks were almost the colour of the rest of his skin again. The last application that I put on him was probably at about 9pm at night. On waking in the morning I found his skin to be just as red and dry. It seems that it will take many applications to have a more extended result, I put it on at least 5 times yesterday in thin coats. It smells lovely and might have a somewhat calming effect simply from that so it'd be a great addition to a baby's bed time regime, or for mums to use on themselves.
Personally I feel that MooGoo is a fantastic moisturiser but I certainly wouldn't say that it will clear up eczema for good. DS1 had awful eczema on his cheeks as well, and I'm worried that DS2 will be the same. I'll continue to use this cream until it's used up, but I don't think I would buy it again. Especially at $20 a tube. That's a high price for something that works about as well as Sorbolene.
I have been a eczema sufferer for 28yrs and I have fallen in love with the whole Moo Goo range.
I came to hear about the range in our hospital pharmacy when several breast cancer patients were using it on their skin to help with the radiation burns from their treatment. Then I found there was a Eczema balm...Horray! If I have a bad break out then I make sure to have a bottle of this on me at all times. In the car, on the bus, at work and at home.
After reading many reviews I decided to try this on DS's eczema and the results where amazing, I highly recommend trying this to anyone and always put moogoo products in any baby gifts that i give
A really great product
I love moogoo. I love it so much I want to marry it!
After having each of my kids I developed terrible dermatitis on my hands, from all the extra cleaning as a stay at home parent. I hate using steroid creams so thought I would give it a go! The results were astonishing. I saw an improvement straight away. Soon I changed to use their other products, such as milk wash, shampoo and conditioner. Now I rarely need to use the balm, as it has cleared up completely!
Unfortunately my it hasn't helped my daughters eczema.
I love it, and will never use anything else for myself! Two thumbs up!
my lil one suffers from eczema and i was recommended this by a friend and within a few days of using this in conjunction with the MSM cream (which is also great for my dry hands) my lil boys skin looked so much better and now you can barely even notice he has it
i highly recommend this as it has all natural ingredients, its australian and most impportantly it works
