This is the only carseat I've ever used so have nothing to compare it to, however I have found it awkward to use while rear facing. The straps that go around the back of the car seat which attach it to the seat of the vehicle seem really high, making it hard to get a tiny newborn into, I always felt like I was going to drop my daughter into it. Now that she's getting bigger and stronger but is still rear facing, i often come close to hitting her head as I try to get her out of the car.

also, the chest / waist straps have to be loosened & tightened each time the seat is used and its sometimes difficult to tighten. the tightening strap has to be pulled quite hard at times and I'm worried one day I'll punch my daughter in the face from pulling it so hard.

the price was good, we got it on sale for $200 (full price was $350).

Overall it seems to be a safe carseat that is comfortable for the baby, just not very practical when rear facing.

We bought this carseat for our first child, and she was in it until she was 2yrs old when we needed it for our second child. It is now 3yrs old and still looks new.

Pros: It is easy to use and comfortable, high safety rating, good brand.

Cons:  It is no very padded, tall toddlers will outgrow it quickly.

Overall, good value for money.
