This is one of the best pumps I have ever used. I bought the electric ones but they did not do the job waiting hours to get a few drops. Because this breast pump is sooo expensive I hired it through a local chemist for $75 a month. My daughter refuses the breast so I express and give to her in a bottle. You can express both sides at the one time but I find it difficult to adjust both so I do it one by one.
You also need to buy the parts as they are sold seperately. You can't hire them as they are considered body fluid but thats a once off $50-$80 depending where you purchase it from.
It easily converts to a manual one when you need to go out as you cannot carry the pump everywhere as it is big and bulky.
It has an adjustanle vaccum setting... I usually start off at level four and increase it to level seven as it can hurt if you start off at level seven
I recommend this pump to anybody who has frequent pumping needs or will be needing it to express because they are returning to work.
It can sometimes get irritating because of the level of noise it produces. My hubby usually says 'please turn it off' as he gets annoyed by it :)
