I found this book useful as a first time mum. It is full of fun exercises, massage and games to play with your kids. They won't even know they are learning and developing as they have fun. The book is broken up into sections from birth up to 5 1/2 years so you can just go the the section that is appropriate for your child. The activities are shown as drawings and are quiet easy to follow. There is an explaination with each activity as to what it helps your child with eg strength, co -ordination, memory training, vestibular stimulation and motor sensory stimulation etc. This is a book I will be refering to for many years to come.

I think this is a great book to engage motor skills, co-ordination and one on one contact with your baby/child. I probably wouldn't take it too seriously but it is a fantastic book and encourages exercise from a young age, this book is definitley worth a look.
