I love this carrier. I used it up until the maximum weight with no problems at all. If it was a long day of carrying DD in this (say, a day at the zoo for example) she did get a bit heavy by the end of the day when she was 12kg, but that is to be expected. The fact of how happy and comfortable she was in this makes this an absolute winner! Plus she was guaranteed to have a sleep if she was in this. Soooo important for me and my non-sleeping girl!
It is super easy to put bub in and out of too.
I now use it for my second baby with the same success - and it still looks brand new I might add!
