Overall I wouldn't recommend buying the Synergy. I bought it when my son was 6 weeks old and paid $225 for it. I was only really able to use it until he was 4 months old, as he's such a big boy. It says it can be used up to 12 kilos, but I found it too uncomfortable across the shoulders and the lumbar back support I dont think really worked for me at all. I personally would recommend looking for a carrier that reversable - as in baby can be put onto your back, as once they're a bit bigger having them in front is just not practical - though its lovely when they're tiny. My boy would fall asleep within minutes in it when he was tiny baby, so it wasn't totally useless. I just would have liked to use it for longer.
