To use this service, browse through the options on the left and, when you find something that you fancy, click on the "Create now" button.

This will take you to the photo sign in page.

If you haven't registered yet, the process is quite simple. Just click on the "Register for free" button low on the page.

All they want to know is your name, email address, a password of your choice and your phone details.

Remember to check the "I accept the Terms, Conditions and Privacy Policy" box! Once you're in the system, enter your name and address details so that they know where to send any orders.

You will also need to create at least one entry in your address book.

Your email address and password are all you need to sign in.

You will then find yourself at the "Free Your Imagination" screen.

Seeing as you are going to be putting your photos on products, it makes sense that the first thing to do is to upload some of your photos and create an album.

In fact, you can set up several albums if you like!

Onscreen instructions tell you how to create a new album and upload images from your own computer.

Of couse, once you're an expert, you can suppress these instructions if you wish. A key point is that you have to check the little box at the top left of selected images.

Once you have uploaded photos, you can have them printed, use them on Photo Gifts or include them in Photo Books.

When you have finished uploading (for now, at least), click on "Main Menu" at bottom left. This will take you back to the "Free Your Imagination" screen, where you can select from Photo Gifts, Digital Prints, Photo Books and Calendars.

Clicking (just for example) "Photo Gifts", shows you up to 8 different product lines at a time. If there are more than 8, the "More" button shows you the next screen full.

Double-clicking on any product line shows you the individual products in that line.

Double clicking on a product brings up a screen that lets you select a photo from one of your albums. Once you've done this, you go to a screen where you can drag one of your images from top left of the screen into a blank space ready to be used to apply your image to the product (in this case, a mouse mat).

If appropriate, you are then asked whether you want a single image or a collage (many overlapping copies of the image). You can add 'Embellishments'. 'Backgrounds' and 'Borders' to your image - use the orange buttons towards the top of the page to see the options available.

Once the image has been loaded, you may use your mouse to adjust the position of the image within the space allowed. Once you're happy with that, click "Next" and the item is added to your Shopping Cart.

You may then choose to continue shopping or have a look at what's in the Cart. You can delete any or all items from the cart.

After that, you may continue shopping or check out, whereupon you are asked to confirm your delivery requirements. Then, you are asked to confirm your order and make your payment via Paypal.

Paypal is a reputable and secure system which allows you to make payments over the internet without anyone except Paypal themselves ever knowing your credit card number.
