Hello there,
May is a very popular month in our office. A couple of birthdays
and then the biggie... Mother's Day. Not only do we love
it because we females get just a little spoilt - and then some -
but it is also a wonderful day to honour and celebrate our own mums
and grandmothers.
To all of our viewers who are mums, we wish you a truly happy and
hug-filled Mother's Day.
Mark it in your social calendar, guys and gals, our Bub Hub
National Pram Ribbon Morning Tea is at a playground near you
on June 1 and you are invited! Proudly fly your Pram Ribbon and
enjoy a nice, relaxed cuppa with your Bub Hub friends and their

on the day will go to our good friends at the Cancer Council.
Would you like to have your voice heard? In our Research
Help section this month, Network 10 are on a quest to speak
with families experiencing financial duress. This is an urgent request
so check it out and respond if you fall under that category and
are happy to be filmed. Other requests for help include people who
have experienced c-sections and teenage pregnancies.

Do you have blue blood? Do you think of yourself as royalty
or, at the very least, a princess? Well you could be! The
Brisbane Royal Women's Hospital is erecting an Honour
Board featuring all the mum's who have given birth to over
490,000 babies at the hospital since 1938 and who have registered
their details as a Royal Mum. You can even register qualifying
women who have deceased. Registration

Farm Day, 24 & 25 May, offers city families
a fun, friendly farm visit and the chance to learn more
about life on the land. So for all those people who
have never seen cows being milked, sheep being shorn,
fed the chooks or sat on a tractor they can simply visit
the Farm Day website
and register your details. What's more it's a fantastic
family day out and an escape from the concrete surrounds
of the big urban cities. And the day is free for participants.

The Sydney Pregnancy, Babies and Children's Expo
is also on later this month. Held at Homebush from May
16-18, we have FREE tickets to the event available for
you below. Bub Hub will be flying the flag proudly at
the expo so make sure you come along to our stand and
say hello to Amber and Danella.
