Summary: not sure if these are a good idea!
September 26th, 2008

Before my baby was born i thought it would be a great idea to have a sensor monitor. Now my baby is 3 months old im not so sure of this decision.

The sensor alarm has gone off a few times. twice in the day time and recently it went off 3 times in one night. When the alarm sounds i feel sick with panic and go racing into my child's room, only to find he is still breathing but he appears to be in a very deep sleep, so im not sure if he has momentarily stopped breathing or if his breathing goes too shallow for the monitor to pick up.

The upside is that you can wake up in the night and glance at the monitor, see the green flashing light and know that your baby is ok.

Summary: Ok

This monitor is ok, although when you have the movement sensor on it has a nosiy beep, and if you turn the beep down the alarm is not very loud, would not wake you up if baby stopped breathing. Also sometimes we forget to turn the sensor off before taking him out of bed and the alarm goes off. Other than that is good. Is good peace of mind if you are parinoid like me.
