Summary: Great carrier
June 24th, 2008
I have been using my hug-a-bub now since DD was born 5 weeks ago and we both love it.  It has an instant calming effect on her when I put her in it and I can get on with my day easily having my hands free.  Takes about 5 goes to get the hang of it but once you do its really easy to use.  Comes with a great instructional DVD to assist!  Would recommend this product!

No belts, no buckles, no clips, no catches, no straps or strings. This was the sling for me! Bub loved it from day one to - well day 9 at the minute, but I cant imagine ceasing using it any time soon

Summary: Great Product - bit $$$
February 12th, 2008
I tried another carrier before purchasing the HAB.

I had wanted one for ages, but the cost had always put me off. My mum could have made a similar thing for under $40... I couldn't justify it.

But after the first choice didn't work, I had no choice. My daughter needed a lot of hugs and attention at around 3weeks (diagnosed with reflux) and it helped her settle while I could get on with my life.

It is also great because there is no re-adjusting to fit my husband.

So overall - love the carrier, just not the price.

Summary: Like a piece of clothing

My husband and I both love the hugabub! Bub is now 4 1/2 months old and almost 8kg and we both still carry him in it. My main issue has been that we live in Brisbane and it is a bit hot to wear much in the summer. I wore him in it almost all day when he was a newborn - he was just so safe and secure, he would go to sleep almost immediately. Now he is sitting up more we free his arms and he is nicely supported. We have both had heaps of comments, a few people even thought it was a top and I had nothing on underneath! It does take a little to get the hang of putting it on, but once you get it, it's pretty straightforward and the most comfortable carrier we have used. It washes and dries fast too. I will definitely keep using it and bring it out again for future bubs.

great sling but a real pain to get on properly and quickly until you get the hang of it.

was a lifesaver in the early days of newborn life.

Will last for ages and you can carry your baby is lots of different ways.
