Purchased in 2006 and have used for just over 1 year with a 3 to 4 year old. She loves it! I took it with us for two overseas trips (Australia to Canada) and it was fantastic - I was able to carry my daughter while still pushing a cart of luggage. Much easier than using a stroller. When not in use it is lightweight and can be clipped to a bag.



The HipSeat rides on hips to take the strain off of your arms and backs. Bub's weight gets distributed to both sides of the body instead of just one side. A wide velco strap with an adjustable buckle system is easily adjusted and allows it to fit most people.



When using it, DD can sit comfortably, but there is no back support for her so she does need to hang on to me or I need an arm around her. Probably suits toddlers more than babies. Even hanging on to her though, the stress on arms is much reduced.



It takes a little practice to get correctly seated on hips, and can tend to push trousers down.



I'm not sure how well it would suit men with their different body shape.
