Summary: Very friendly and good
July 22nd, 2008

We took our 11 month old to Europe with Singapore Airlines. Nothing but praise for them. The Stewardesses are really really friendly and helpful with babies and their parents. A big plus for us as well was that the bassinet is one of the bigger one's around (for up to 14 kilo's).  At some point the stewardess noticed mum and dad were in need of a little breakther, so she asked friendly and then took our darling and played with her in the kitchen (just behind the curtain)  so we could have a cuppa and a little break. We were very pleased with them all.

Another great tip: take the stopover deal in Singapore. It takes another night to get to Europe but you win that back by actually being alive when getting off the plane ;-)

Summary: great airline
February 15th, 2008
We traveled already a couple times with Singapore Airlines from Europe to Australia and back.

First time with a 4 months old and I have lots of praises for the service.

we could check in the pram at the gate, so even after checking in the luggage, we still could hold onto it and in Singapore, where we had the stop over, we picked it up again, straight after we hopped off the plane.

The flight it self was good, the Stewardess provided us with a small bag filled with essentials for a baby. Disposable nappies, wipes, bibs and even a small toy for our little one.

We also could have had jars of solids but he wasn't on solids, so this didn't apply to us.

We had a bassinette, were he could sleep so all up the flight was very pleasent.

We used it again, when our first born was 16 mths and we had a seat for him at that time and a few noisy toys to kill some of the time and noone seemed to bother.

Every passenger in economy class has a little screen built in the head rest of the front seat. You can chose from a large variety of movies, music channels and nintendo games.

I highly recommend SQ and would never fly with anything else again.

Summary: Highly recommended
December 7th, 2007
We have travelled twice long-haul to Europe with Singapore, the first with a 9 month old and second with an 18 month old. Great service, able to gate check the stroller and get it immediately on disembarking the plane which was very handy. There are different meal options depending on child's age, we found the post-weaning meal (mashed veges) too mushy for our 18 month old and had to change to the child's meal. With our 18 month old we paid for a seat and took a car seat on the plane without problems (we had to fit it ourselves). The air hostesses were very helpful and arranged for us to eat our meals one at a time so one of us could feed the baby. My research tells me that Singapore has the largest bassinette, it fit our large 9month old easily, probably would up to 12 months. Highly recommended.
