Summary: These work really well
August 21st, 2008

I have found these breast pads to work really well for me. I started using them when my son was about 7 weeks old so I wasn't leaking as much and they have been fantastic. I have only had to use 1-2 a day since then. I would imagine I would have to change them more often if I started using them earlier but they are so much cheaper than other brands that this wouldn't matter much. They are nice and big, have a handy sticky patch so they don't move, don't make me itchy like other breast pads and aren't really visible or bulky under my bra.

I really recommend you try these as they are such a great price and are fantastic for some people. Even if you buy one box and find they're no good for you, at least you'll know and won't feel so bad buying more expensive breast pads.

Summary: Good
July 3rd, 2008
I found these breast pads worked good. No leaking and very cheap. When I wore them heaps at the beginning they did irritate my boobs a bit as I don't think they drew the moisture away from my body enough but now that I only use them at night they feel fine. I think the more often you change them the more comfy they feel and they are very cheap in comparison to the other brands. I haven't tried any others, other than the homebrand.

Summary: Really Good!
May 8th, 2008

These are really good breast pads!

They don't make my nipples itchy or soggy, they draw the moisture away from my body and they don't stink. I only have to change them once a day so they are excellent value for money.

And they are a lovely pink colour!

Summary: I had a reaction to these
April 22nd, 2008
I actually had a reaction to these and got rashes right around where the edges touched my skin. They were not very absorben either when I used them at the beginning of breastfeeding. I suppose if you don't leak too much they could be ok.

Summary: Great for larger breasts
April 16th, 2008
I struggled with breast pads since I have enormous breasts & nipples. (At my worst during b/f days I was an H cup!) Although they weren't so fabulous for absorbency in the early days, they were great for coverage from about 3 months onwards.

So I recommend you use Pigeon or similar over-priced pads while your supply is settling in, then swap to these for the remainder of your breastfeeding time. They're so much cheaper and just as effective once you're past the soggy-mummy fireman's hose first 12 weeks phase!

Summary: Cheapie but a Goodie!
March 4th, 2008
These were so good. They came packaged kinda...unattractively... in their box, but they worked as well as the other disposable breastpads I was happy with (Pidgeon), but they cost next to nothing compared to other brands.

They, and the Pidgeon ones, were the only brand I tried (I tried all brands my local supermarket stocked) that didn't make my nipples super-itchy.

I think they were fabulous.

Summary: Hopeless!!!!
January 30th, 2008
These were really hopeless, i just leaked through. I wish that i had known at the beginning, by the johnson and johnson breast pads they really are the best, the lasted me all day and were super comfortable, no horrible plastic like the other ones and they don't hang out of your bras..... In the end i think breast pads are like nappies, you really do get what you pay for!!

Summary: Good for minor leaks
January 20th, 2008
These are great if you are not leaking alot.

I wish I'd known at the start that some brands are more absorbant.

But now I find these are great value for my $$ and I buy the bulk pack!

Summary: yuck!
December 11th, 2007
I used these early in my feeding days, and didn't like them at all!! They felt very bulky, and didn't keep they're shape very well. Also weren't very absorbent, at least, not for me, I regularly leaked through them! And they constantly felt wet. Quite cheap, which was why I bought them in the first place, but after a couple of days use, I chucked 'em, didn't even keep them for emergencies.

Summary: Not very absorbant
November 26th, 2007
I bought these because they were very cheap but I quickly regretted it. They were not very absorbant at all and became soggy and crumpled within an hour of putting them on. I had to change them a lot more than my regular pads so they were not good value for money at all.
