Summary: great for walking
June 15th, 2007
We bought a duolite for our twin boys from birth, mainly due to price (under $400), height (not slouching to push pram) and Manoeuvrability. It is REALLY easy to move about and get into tight corners, and does fit thru standard doorways BUT still doesnt fit thru a lot of doors and the standard door measurement of 780 is without the door hung... so we do have problems sometimes. We use the disabled checkouts and if out and about at shops disabled toilets if their is no mothers room big enough (which sometimes isnt at small shops).

The seats lay back independent of each other which was great when they were small.

It is really solid and lasting well. Did not come with a pump for tyres, but any of the standard matress pumps work and tyres easy to pump. Only had to pump them up a couple of times in 13 months. Only problem durabitlity wise is with the lock (to hold it togther in boot) and that was broken by removelists being rough with our gear.

It is a heavy pram compared to some (14kg) which is not good after a caeser, but fine after that for putting in stationwagon back. We leave ours up for walking and have a lighter pram for the car.

The baskets are a bit cramped and hard to get to when seats are lying down. If you use a nappy bag on the handle and use the pockets for mobiles, purse and keys, there is enough room for baby food etc and the small amt of shopping that comes to 5kg which is the weight most prams reccomend for putting in the baskets.

The pram was good value for money as it was mid-priced, could be used from birth, and is very durable. It will seat my boys for some time to come as takes up to 20kg each seat.

Accessories have been no problem (comes with sunshade) and raincover was easy to order. Not sure about toddler seat, but not something we were looking at when buying. No cup holder I have come across fits it well, but water bottles fit well in the pockets.

We have found it to be easy to use and travel with and a hard wearing take some knocks pram.

LIke all prams, try it out at a store before you buy, and if accessories are important to you, make sure where you are buying from can get you want you want.

Summary: Try before you Buy
June 6th, 2007
The twins were comfortable from newborn, once I added a sheep skin liner each as the seating was quite hard. The buckles on the harness used to get stuck all the time and for the price I was a bit disappointed with the storage underneath, one would assume the purchaser would be buying the pram for twins yet it doesn't give you the storage you require for twins, i.e chunkier than usual nappy bag etc. And it never came with a tyre pump. Otherwise to move it in & out of shopping traffic it was great
