Summary: Not for Infants

Dermaid is a great product!! For adults!!! Dermaid contains cortisone which is not ideal for young ones skin. I use it for my own skin irritations and it works well, but would not suggest you use it on a baby. Very clearly it says on the label "do not use on children under 2 unless recommended by a doctor" and "do not use for more than 7 days unless recomended by a doctor". So please see a doctor before using this cream on a baby.

Summary: Cheap and worked well

Much cheaper than other eczema creams on the market (under $10) which made me dubious at first whether it would work - but this was recommended by a doctor.

Was surprised when I noticed good healing results within a few days (and this was serious weeping eczema).

Good non prescription over the counter cream. There is another version for sensitive skin.

Dermaid twice a day as recommended by the local chemist worked a treat with my 1yr old's eczema. His inner elbows were so red and inflamed, but on the chemist's advice I applied Dermaid twice a day and applied QV Cream at every other nappy change during the day and I am pleased to say that within 2 days there was a huge improvement. Definately worth my money.

Dermaid comes in 2 types pink & blue - one is more of a lotion than a cream and just a preference to which I would choose. Clear skin up over night on each application - definate improvement on every use.
