Summary: Lite n Easy - the way to go!
May 6th, 2008

I started back on Lite n Easy in January after the birth of my daughter in September.

This is my 3rd go.... once for my wedding, once after our 2 month USA honeymoon where we ate and ate and now after bubs.

It is very easy to follow and seeing that you are paying for the meals and have designated meals, it is a lot easier to say NO to additional treats along the way.

When trying to lose weight by myself, I will allow myself a treat every now and again, but you forget that you had a treat yesterday, the day before and the day before that... with Lite n Easy, they have yummy snacks which feel like treats and you are not breaking your diet.

It is great now that they have options for breakfast and lunch. You never get bored and going to the fridge or freezer for your meals is (for me) very exciting.

Admittedly it isn't cheap, but it definitely works. Luckily my husband knows his way around the kitchen and I get to spend more time with my baby and microwave my dinners.

Anytime I need to shed a few kgs, I am back on it.

I have now lost my 24 kg baby gain and trying to get back to my goal weight.

Summary: Perfect (but pricey)
March 4th, 2008
It's quite expensive, but it really depends on how many you have in your family as to just how more expensive than the weekly grocery bill it is.

When I was on it, I had an 18 month old, and it was just the two of us living together. I just made some toddler-friendly meals, froze them, and gave them to her when I was eating my LnE dinners. If I was living with my partner then, it would have been more costly and more difficult.

I lost 10kg in 6 weeks, doing absolutely no exercise. I think I walked 15 mins down the road ONCE... that's the extent of my exercise. All I did was follow LnE... and I only did it 5 days a week... the other 2 enabled me to go out if I wanted, and eat out (eating low-fat maccas options, or a nice subway sandwich or some yummy restaurant meal or something).

There's a variety in Calorie plans, so breastfeeders and men can use it... you could likely even have it during pregnancy... as it's not like you're cutting out anything, and you're actually eating quite healthily.

You can find their meal plans and prices on the website, which I found very helpful - I didn't want to call up and be suckered into signing up, so it was good to be able to browse at my leisure.

It's a fabulous diet - and I would go back on it if I could afford to.
