I have been following the OptiSlim diet for a few weeks now and i tell you what i LOVE it!
It's not for the faint hearted though... you need to love shakes... cause all it is, is shake shake shake...
I've been walking on the tredmill and so far have lost 8 kilos in 3 weeks which isnt too bad considering i had a few cheat days in between - Kfc, pizza etc :)
I was doing th Tony Ferguson but at $3.25 a pop for each sachet i found it way too expensive in the long run. At my local Chemist Warehouse you can get 2 boxes (21 sachets in each) of OptiSlim for $55 which works out to be about $1.30 each sachet which is a HUGE difference in cost! I must admit though that there arent as many flavours to choose from but i love the chocolate and am quite happy to have a chocolate "milkshake" every day lol i find if you mix them with 250ml of water and a hand full of icecubes then blend it up in your blender it makes one heck of a shake!
I've been followin the intensive faze as i have a HEAP to loose and that is 3 shakes a day and 2 cups of allowed veggies. My hubby and i checked out all of the nutrients and 3 shakes a day actually gives you all that your body needs - vitamins, minerals, calcium etc - per day which is great :)
It's been easy for me in the end. I cook all my hubbies meals and love the smell of the food and he's eating well so he doesnt seem to mind that i'm doing mthis diet as it doesnt effect him at all. Bub is easy as i do all his meals in advance each fortnight and freeze them, so he's not effected either... in the end he's better off as he's getting a healthier more active mummy :) Also i've noticed that our grocery bills are down quite a bit on this diet too! which is great as we are a 1 income family and we all know how hard that can be!
I would recommend this to anyone looking to loose a bit of weight and dosent have the willpower to stick to a healthy eating "calorie controlled" plan. I'm really bad with counting calories and find it easier to be told that this is all i can eat!
