I used Lucas Papaw ointment for years until I found out it contains petrochemical ingredients.

Was using a commercial cream for a little bit of 'red bum' - was working but seemed to disappear in no time (absorbed into nappy?).



Have switched to the PawPaw ointment - best move yet! Our little girls bottom is now beautiful and pink with no signs of redness or a rash.

I love it for my lips, but found it made my DS's nappy rash much worse. Perhaps he had a reaction to it.

My mum used Lucas paw paw ointment on my sister 25 years ago and I have been using it for my son and it usually heals a sore bum overnight. The great thing is you can use it on all sorts of cuts and scrapes to limit infection. I have a jar on standby at all times.

I used Papaw ointment religiously with my first son and it worked an absolute treat.



However when I tried it on my second son the nappy rash / teething rash did not dissappear if anything his skin appeared to go redder..



This is a great product, just be wary with babies. Watch for any adverse reactions and discontinue if you see any..



If I have a third child I will definitely try it on them..



Also great for bites, scratches. rashes...

I love paw paw ointment! I rub it on my lips to stop them drying out and dab it on those yukky hormonal pimples. Havent had bub yet, but I'm pretty sure he's going to be covered in paw paw ointment :)

I love this cream! I cannot reccommend it highly enough. It soothes nappy rash and heals it very quickly. I also use it on cuts, skin rashes and dry patches.
