I have used this type of monitor for nearly three years. I bought a different type for my second baby, ( a fancier one with more gadgets ) after a few weeks I went and bought another steelcraft as I found it to be a better, though basic monitor. I have a large house and run two monitors on differnt channels, one for each bub. The cries or noises come through clear which allows you to determine your response to each child.
