I was given this monitor as a present.  Its not the cheapest one on the market but I would say its not the best one either.

The range is very short and lots of things give the monitor static. Of a night time if you have it near anything electrical like a digital clock or a lamp it will make the moitor hum.

If you are only using it for night times when the baby is in bed and so are you then it its great as long as you can put up with the humming.
