We purchased this because my son was getting bored laying down all the time and I couldn't get anything done because he was bored and unsettled. He likes the swing, though not right after a feed (we call it the vomitron!) and being able to take off the chair/rocker has been a godsend. We take the chair if we're going out and he's happy to sit and watch what's going on- also handy for getting the housework, etc done as he's close and happy. The swing is also tops when unsettled, especially after needles when his legs are sore and it hurts to be cuddled. Only downer is the music- high pitched, repetitive and annoying but it has volume control and we just don't put it on.
