ALSO on the positive side this model can be mains or battery operated so is completely mobile - meaning you can express anywhere at anytime.

The Fisher & Paykel (Medela) Mini Electric Plus is a great double electric pump allowing both single or simultaneous double expressing.

On the positive side: this is a reputable brand known for their motor longevity and resiliance. Any pump sold for home use is not really designed to be used multiple times per day, however the Mini Electric Plus certainly did so for me with my first child without signs of strain.

The convenience of being able to express both breasts simultaneously is a great time saver, though takes a bit to master the art of regardless of what type of pump you are using.

On the negative side: at the time of my purchase the components could not be microwave sterilised which means after washing the components they either have to be sterilised in a solution such as Milton, or boiled. Neither of which is too tricky.
