I found this double pump to be great, its easy to use, easy to clean, has many suction stregnths, and is quite fast, is a little noisy, but most large electric pumps are, this pump was great while I was expressing for my premmie baby

the Ameda pump is reasonably good, easy to use but I did find it was slow, has double pumping ability so thats a bonus, and is a little on the noisy side, easy to get hold of to hire

I had to use this pump for both of my children when my milk didn't come in. I used it in the hospital, then hired one from a chemist. I recommend hiring over buying unless you are planning on having a big family. I still had to buy my own kit of bottles, tubes and suction cups (single and double kits available), which came with a hand pump as well. The set was easy to use and was adjustable with regards to frequency and strength of pumps. It was a matter of setting everything up, and then just sitting and letting the pump do its job. I didn't find it difficult to sterilise, as I was doing bottles anyway. It came in a big box and wasn't really portable, but for short term home use it was quite effective.
