Because you can use as either a high chair or a table and chair is the main reason why we bought this particular highchair.
If we are going to a relative or friends house I will take the chair by itself so that my son still has a place to sit and eat and therefore you don't have to worry about your child not having a suitable place to eat. It does take up a bit of room but I doubt it would be any more than any other highchair and because of the shape it looks neat. The only problem that I have is that the bottom harness straps are connected to the chair itself and is hard to clean as the shoulder staps go into the washing machine with the padded seat and clean up easily. Overall I am very happy with the product and knowing that I can get five or six years use out of it makes me even happier.

The plastic modular construction makes it very easy to wipe clean at all times. However to remove the padded seat cover for a washing machine job is a little time consuming. I was aware of this prior to purchasing though, so wasn't too concerned about that.
Flexibility wise, it is limited in what you can do for storage. Once again, I was aware of this prior to purchasing, however the fact it can be converted to a toddler chair & table set appealled to me more so. I hadn't seen anything else like it on the market. When converted to a chair, I must say it is extremely sturdy and my 'wild child' climbs in & out of it without it looking like it will tip over. Can't say that about a lot of other toddler chair & table sets I've seen around. The reclining mechanism for bub mode was useful at the time and I was able to use with ease. There are a few things that I didn't like, however these wouldn't make me look elsewhere. Firstly the tray requires both hands for removal, making it very difficult for all the one hand situations you find yourself in constantly when feeding a baby. The other was (and this may be due to me having a relatively small baby), the straps that go from the shoulders down when fully tightened, still remained quite loose on my bub for many months. Thirdly, I believe it could be improved by having a modular piece attatched to the tray that runs down between the legs on the seat. When bub was younger, he did wriggle his way downwards a lot & I was forever pulling him back up so we could see him properly! All in all, yes it does have it's faults, but I love it and wouldn't buy anything else. we have a small house and although it can't be folded away, it does sit neatly due to it's square structure in the corner out of the way. I just loved the cute pictures & colour range that it came in too, we got to pick one that suited our living room colours. At the time of purchase I remember it was one of the most expensive I had seen, however they have come down in price a lot now.
