Summary: Great Greenkids!
October 30th, 2008

These nappies are Great.

Have been using them for 4 months.

They wash well, look great and are easy to use.  Only the Funtimes version leaks or gets wet through, but only after being on for a long time.

We got 16 Anytimes and 4 Funtimes.  After realising that the only difference is that the Funtimes outer fabric isn't waterproof we wish we'd bought only Anytimes.  The colors look great.

A mix of Bamboo and Hemp inserts is a good idea.  Hemp dries quicker which is handy when you're down to your last and Bamboo is very absorbent for nightime.  We havn't needed to use a booster ....... yet.

Summary: I love my Green Kids
October 5th, 2007
I have only been using these nappies for a little while a friend gave me some to borrow to see if I like them and I LOVE THEM. I have stoped using dissposables all together. They are fantastic. So absorbant, so easy to use (even hubby knows what to do!) I love the colours. I tried a few other cloth nappies before using Green Kids and was not happy with them but once I started using Green Kids I was hooked. So glad these were invented. Keep up the good work. Cheers Beck :)

not happy with this nappy.. I tried and failed... and tried again.. and failed again, no matter what i did this nappy kept leaking :S

The fit SEEMED okay but it still kept leaking. I tried boosting with different things that work in all my other pocket nappies but it still leaked

didnt take long for me to give up

I voted 5 for longetivity because i didnt own it long enough to judge fairly.

value for money was low because it was a total waste of money

never again

Summary: Very easy to use.
August 27th, 2007
We have 20 of these nappies and are using them full time. I was concerned that cloth would be really hard work find Green Kids very user friendly. I bought extra inserts to minimise the need to use the dryer as they take a whole day to dry on cold days but the outer shell feels almost dry coming out of the washing machine. I was every second day & stuff the nappies all at once (5 mins for 12) & they are then as easy to put on bub as a disposable.

We were intending to use disposables when going out but are finding there is no need as the cloth work just as well. They are bulkier than a disposable so this affects the clothes size on a very young baby (we started at 10 weeks). The night time nappies are very bulky even now at 16 weeks. I found this the other brand that I tried as well (Baby Beehinds).

I have been using these nappies full time for 6 weeks, so longevity remains to be seen, but so far so good.

Summary: Wish I'd found it earlier, wearing well
June 11th, 2007
I've been using 14 anytimes and 4 funtimes on my 8 month old for over 2 months now. I wash them every second day. They can be dried in drier when it rains, and the nappies dry very quickly by themselves. The inserts take a good few hours in the sun. I could have done with less nappies and just extra inserts to make up for longer drying time on the line. My tricky bub can undo velcro closures if I don't get pants on him quickly enough. They look really good and fit well under all clothes (which are usually sewn for disposables I think). They are a little bulkier to carry in my nappy bag, but I tend to carry one and leave a few in the car. I like the elastic in the back and it makes a firm fit round the waist easy. The customer service is extremely friendly.

Now 4 months and they are wearing so well! I still use them on him full time (with some help from DH with the washing!) The hemp inserts just get softer (I do throw them in the dryer off the line for about 15 mins to soften) and the nappies are still bright and not stained. I can't believe they wash so well every time. I dry pail them and wash in hot after a cold rinse. I now use a little squirt to rinse the dirty ones into the toilet as soon as I change them.
