Summary: Great for around town
June 20th, 2008

I bought this pram when my son was a year old as my first pram (a large 3 wheeler) was taking up too much space in my car everytime we went shopping... I just wish i had of bought it earlier!!! I love this pram! It fits easily in the boot of my small Citroen C4 with some room to spare, and my son loves sitting in it, it is so easy for me to steer around the shops, even with one hand and it fits down quite narrow isles. I always hear other women commenting to each other "that's a good pram!" whenever i walk past too!

t is very easy to lift as it seperates into 2 sections, nice and light. Heaps of storage space when I use it with the seat. I haven't used it with the bassinet as my son was too old for it, so can't really comment on the bassinet yet. However I just bought a 'mommy hook' from the baby shop which i hang my handbag/shopping off, so i don't see why storage would be a problem (unless you have a LOT of shopping bags!)

I have just found out I am expecting again so I guess I will have to buy the wheeled baord attachment for my son, as i do NOT want to give up this pram! I just wish it had a toodler seat, but i'm hoping that by that stage my son will be happy to use the wheelie board.

The only negative about this pram (apart from the price which i guess is quite expensive) is that I would only use it around the city on nice even footpaths, shops etc, it is definately not a very practical rugged terrain pram. If you can afford it and have the storage space, buy a cheaper 3 wheeler for walks in the bush etc. and keep your Bug for 'civilisation'!

Every time i use my pram i fall in love with all over again. Its light, and its so easy to navigate in and around the shop stands. I can go where my friends prams can't.  I have a 2 door Lexus so space was a factor and the bugaboo fits in great!!! My bub loves to sleep in the bassinette (even at 5 mths) so dinning out is something we can do regularly and have no fussing from him. I just swap it over to the seat for shopping and out and about days. One thing though the carry bag underneath is pretty useless when the bassinette is engaged, but good when the seat is on.   My hubby thought the pice was outrageous but now he reccommends this pram to others.  Worth the dollars ladies!!!

Summary: bugaboo
May 7th, 2008

My bugaboo cameleon was the first thing i wanted when pregnant and i still love it, as the other reviewer my little girl was in seat from 3 months as she wanted to look around but as the layback option is there it supports their back anyway. I bought drink holder and pram hooks to carry shopping bags as storage is a little tricky but good space for keeping raincoat and umbrella in! Its funky, durable (you can wash all material in washing machine), expensive but no other pram has a resale price as good as these. only dissapointing bit is they cant hold two babies so if having babies close together you will need a new pram.

This is the best pram ever!! The problems that other users have had can mostly be rectified if used correctly. For instance put the large wheels at the front to go over grass, put the two parts on top of each other to fit it into the boot and if there is a pull on a slope then lock the small wheels so they don't roll down the slope:) The basinette was brilliant as my little ones bed and at 3 months already have her in the seat as she desperatly wants to look around. The storage was a bit of a pain with the basinette but I found if you take the basinette off and place it on a bench it solves the problem. I did this many times and didn't wake my daughter once while doing it. It is one of the lightest prams on the market and alot safer than the "joggers" that seem so popular but have had many bad reviews (ie they fall apart literally when used) It is so manoeuverable you can turn it around in the smallest of aisles! The accessories you get with it mean there isn't really much more you need to get (although a drink holder would be handy for walks) I don't think I could sing the praises of this pram any more and could go on for ever. Worth the money, even more so if you can get one in the sales.

Summary: so easy to use

i love my bug!

the best thing is that i usually walk with my dog and pram and can happily and easily manover the pram with one hand with the dog lead in the other. we also live in a suburb with lots of uneven footpaths and go off road lots and it performs like a dream.

getting it into and out of the car is a breeze but it does occasionaly lock - usually when it raining - but this is random.

only real negative is with the bassinet on getting to the storage is a pain. but with the seat in its easy and ample.

acessorieswise it comes with all you need bat as we live in a hot area we invested in the sunshade and breezy canopy.

we got ours at dj's for 1200 so worth waiting for a sale....

I absolutely LOVE this pram and recommend it to everyone i know!

I have a 2 door lancer with a small boot and I can easily fit in the bugaboo plus a few bags of shopping.

It is sooo easy to manouver, I recently had to push someone else's 4 wheeler and couldnt even turn it properly i was soo used to the Bugaboo and just having to turn where i want to go....

The only thing i disliked about the pram was when i had the bassinet attachment on, it was a bit hard to get to the storage basket.

Collapsing it is soo easy but takes a while to master.

Definately worth every penny I spent on it!

Summary: Not a fan!!

Wish I hadn't bought the Bugaboo. It was a huge waste of money. The only thing good about it is the manoeuverability. It's not very good value for money and very difficult to fold up and put into boot. I end up having to kick it to try to get the wheels to unfold every time I'm trying to put it together. Very heavy and not very user friendly at all. And unless youhave a huge four wheeled drive, it's too big for most boots. I have to take everything out of the boot to fit it in. Very dissapointed.

This pram in definetly worth the money you pay. Can't believe anyone would call this pram heavy as it is one of the lightest and easiest prams to pull apart and lift. I have absolutley no problems putting this pram up and down and love the ease of manoeuvrabilty. I have the sleeping bag and my son loves it!! he looks so happy and cosey all rugged up in it.

Would reccomend the bugaboo to anyone..

Summary: What warranty???
July 9th, 2007
Definately the most manoeuvrable pram around but don't be sucked in by the pretty colours...sooo expensive, hard to adjust with all the buttons you need to push and pull at the same time, no storage, heavy and big for any boot, and to top it off, the 2 year warranty was not worth the paper it is written on....I had to wait 3 & 1/2 months for a replacement due to a fault it had when I first purchased it. By the time they decided to grant me a replacement I had bought my cheap but excellent McLaren......1/10th of the price and I love it!

Good pram but takes up a bit of space in the boot. Took some practice to fold it up. It's very lightweight but not sure if it was worth the money i paid for it.

Summary: SERIOUSLY BEST PRAM
June 9th, 2007
best pram EVER! Pro's : so lightweight, it is actually easy to fold up and down, the fact that u do it in 2 parts makes it even better as i have never had my back seize up on me trying to put this pram away cause its amazingly light,it is so comfy for bub, versitle - baby can face forward or you can turn seat around to face you, it totally cruises- so easy to manouver even when i put my 3 year old in it, all the fabric is washable, height adjustable handle - finally i dont have to kick the pram accidently when i walk, best ever sun hood- completely protects like no other, rain cover is super quality- can use with or with the hood so bub doesnt have to feel so closed in, underseat basket is so handy, holds heaps and you can drawstring it shut so your stuffs secure.did i mention how soft and cosy this pram is, no metal bars on the side for bub to accidently bang their head on. All adjustments are so easy to do, ie just press big buttons to sit up or recline, the resale value of these prams seems pretty good too, also you can by different colour fabrics to change your pram, too easy! I could go on all day about how good this pram is.. but i wont. Cons- the price for sure, i got mine for a bargin at $1350 and it is super expensive compared to most prams, i almost feel a bit guilty when i see people walk past me hunched over with their cheap little umbrella strollers. Also the accessories are expensive too, but on the other hand I would buy it all again so it is worth paying for.

Summary: This pram sucks balls!!
June 5th, 2007
Honestly,, the bassinet part was great for my baby,,but no freaking storage at ALL,,how useless,,you have to lug a bag everywhere you go and when you attatch the seat the hadlebars go right down to the base of the pram so any bag you out on them slides down and drags along the ground. The seat is also in a permenant sitting position so even if you lie your baby back they cant stretch out. Its a nightmare to open up the buttons are so hard I almost dislocated a finger and its heavy,,Now Im almost a 6ft mum so it should have been easy for me but its an awkward make. Its totally useless for long outings and the bag that you velco to the bottom is a joke,, it cant carry any groceries at all,,Now the tires are air filled meaning the go flat once a month and hen you are over correcting because one is slightly flatter than the other so it doesnt steer straight. A peice of Junk I am about to seel on Ebay and get another usefull pram. WASTE OF MONEY & TIME AND ENERGY!!!

Summary: Love it!
April 24th, 2007
I think this is a great pram! We used it from the day our bub was born, not just as a pram but also as a bassinette for him to sleep in at home. We could easily wheel him from the loungeroom to the bedroom while he was sleeping so he could be close to us during the night. I just bought a few bassinette sheets and blankets and he used it as a bed until he was about 4 months old. It was great because I could also rock him to sleep in it and because it's not as big as a cot I think he felt nice and secure in there as well. Now he's 5 months and already in the seat, he loves looking around and he's got a good view of everything. You can also put the seat in the flat position for naptime. I am actually pretty happy with the storage space underneath, when you pull the canvas material as far up/out as possible I think there's plenty of room for all your stuff. I put blankets, jackets, shopping and other things in there and haven't run out of space yet. I also love how you can swop the handle bar around. You can face your baby when walking and if you want to have him close to you when you are sitting at a table, you can move the handle bar out of the way and pull him all the way in. It's very light and easy to manoeuvre. I also bought the little sun umbrella and find I'm using it now more than before, as the sun is getting lower and it's easier to protect him from the sun with the umbrella than with the hood. All in all a great pram and well worth the money IMO.

Summary: I hate this so much
April 19th, 2007
What I like about this pram is that the handlebar is adjustable for us taller parents and it does handle really smoothly in shopping centres or on perfect footpaths. The two-part system is lighter to lift into a car, and it seems indestructable.

Beyond that, it is a huge disappointment. It is actually dangerous to handle over grass or on gravel roads, and it is definitely not suitable for forrest trails as advertised. You can't safely tilt the wheels up kerbs or over obstacles and it is impossible to steer when in off-road setup . I nearly tipped my toddler onto his face trying to push it over grass at the local park when he was strapped into the seat in street-mode.

The toddler skateboard + a third party seat isn't strong enough for my 3 yo to use, he is already too heavy for them both, making it an expensive waste of money. He is also too tall to sit in the main seat setup comfortably and his feet hang over the edge. The storage area is hard to access in bassinet mode. The colourful polar fleece lining and accessories catches dust and animal dander and requires constant cleaning. The safety strap is too short to use comfortably. You can't see your newborn's face past the flap on the bassinet cover.

I researched reviews widely before buying this, I've had it for 3 months. I expected to love it too, but the longer I've had it the more disappointing it has been. It isn't as versatile or safe as the 3-wheeler I bought 3 years ago for 1/3 the price.

Summary: Bugaboo- I love it
April 12th, 2007
This pram is fabulous!!!!!! I love it so much. Bassinette is fabulous for newborns, and the seat for toddlers is wonderful - their not enclosed in it. Only porb is bub #2 is due in 6mths, and with DS being 14mths old, will need a pram with toddler seat. Cant part with this so will keep it and use with skate board thingy for small shopping trips!!!!!

I lovethat you can change the colour of the pram instantly- i've bought 3 colour toppings so far- you could say im addicted!

Cant praise it highly enough- LOVE IT

This pram is THE pram. The $ nay turn many off, but it comes with the bassienet and seat, mossie net, rain cover. Very easy to collapse, however it is a two step process, and may not fit in many small cars. It Manouvers well, however I find it pulls to the side, if on a slope. That said, I love it! I love the colours and the fact if you buy a new top cover, it will look like a new pram.

Summary: very happy with purchase
April 4th, 2007
My husband and I deliberated over a pram for about 4 months so our final purchase was done after a lot of road tests, research and quizzing of friends. We have not regretted out purchase. It is rather frustrating not being able to access the carry basket when the bassinette is in use but by placing your nappy bag across the handlebar and adding a drink holder, enough storage can be gained. I also found that because the bassinette is so generous, I can store my handbag at the top, above the baby's head. Manoeuvrability is amazing! I can go anywhere, with very little effort. I'm also a walker and I put my dog's lead over the brake handle and traverse the pavement with little effort. AND I have had sooooo many comments about how lovely my pram is. Maybe that's not important but after sleepless nights, a compliment or 2 doesn't go astray. Final tip - eventually Baby's Galore or David Jones do have a sale on this item so plan early and be patient.

I LOVE this pram. Pricey, but well worth it.

As a previous reviewer said, the main drawback I found was accsessing the basket with the bassinet on. But after you switch to the seat permanently, that's not a problem.

I would have liked it a bit easier to switch from bassinette to seat and back again, but in the long run, it's only a few month you want to do that for.

I love that you can change colours of the topping, and love the accessories you can buy for it. I have the toddler skateboard which is pretty good as far as toddler transport goes :)

Highly recommend if you have the $$$
