Summary: Profile Layback Stroller
July 31st, 2008

I bought this stroller when my son was 9 months old because I was sick of trying to manouvre a 3 wheel jogger through the shops.  It was fantastic at first but either as my son has grown and is sitting more towards the front of the pram or as it is getting on (We've had it 7 months now), it has become increasingly difficult to push and steer.  It is no good for walking at a fast pace or on soft surfaces.  I find the 2 handles great for hanging the shopping on but virtually impossible to steer with one hand.  The storage basket barely gets used as it's too difficult to access and holds very little anyway.

The layback function is excellent as my son will still sleep in it occasionally but my husband lost a very large chunk of his finger because his finger got caught in the slide mechanism you use to lay it back.  I have also caught my skin a couple of times but only bruised it. But still hurt like hell.  I also regularly catch the skin on my arms when folding the stroller up and lifting into the car.  There is a flexible bar across the handles that folds into 3 parts.  If you're not careful - it bites!

To be honest although this pram wasn't hugely expensive, I did expect it to last a lot longer than 7 months. We are now at the point where we will be looking for something else to replace it.

Summary: Highly recommended
March 15th, 2008
We wanted a pram that was lightweight, easy to collapse and most of all something that wasn't going to cost the earth, and we sure got that with this pram. I knew from day one that I didn't want to buy a bulky three wheel jogger that seem to be all the rage.

My only criticism is the lack of storage space and accessibility to the basket underneath when the seat is fully reclined. To be honest I don't use the basket much anyway - only to store a raincover and universal sun shade which I bought seperately. It folds up like a dream and doesn't weigh a tonne.

Summary: Good overall stroller

I love this stoller. Easy to fold and is light weight which is what we were looking for when we purchased it. My only complaints, is it can be very difficult to steer one handed, if you need to carry bub for one reason or another. In saying that when bub is in the stroller it is sooo easy to move it is great. Also the storage basket is very difficult to access if you have a nappy bag hanging off the the handles. I aslo agree with the comment made in other reviews that the sun shade doesn't do much.

Summary: Good value for money

I bought this stroller (new) fairly cheaply so I am very happy with what it does for this price range. I found out after buying it that it can take the safe and sound capsule. It's very easy to fold and takes up less room in the boot compared to my Strider 4. I like the fact that it reclines in 4 positions and it's easy to manouever. The only downside is that I can't access the basket until my baby is bigger when the recline can be raised. I bought a universal sun shade mesh which fits it well for sunny days and the storm covers from my strider fit it too. It came with a great boot cover which was a bonus. Overall, I am happy with it so far.

Summary: Great Layback Stroller!
May 11th, 2007
This is a great Stroller!

It's safe and sturdy.

My only criticism would be the Sunshade, it doesn't extend far enough over my daughter in the afternoon sun, and the flip out visor does nothing extra in the way of sun protection

i purchased this pram 2nd hand and it was used for 1 baby before mine.the handles were discolouring and have continuied to fade and now one has cracks and bits have fallen off. This pram is compatible with the safe n sound unity capsule.its a little hard to push with the handles- i prefer 1 long handle rather than 2 handles.the basket is hard to get to when the seat is layed bach and it isnt very big.

all in all an ok pram...dont know if id spend all the money on a 2 handle pram one though again -bit hard to push with a 2 1/2 yr old in it...its more manoverable with smaller children.(it's easier to push with the capsule attached than have my 2 1/2 yr old in it!
