Summary: Fantastic Price, Great Performance!
August 21st, 2008

Firstly, these nappies are totally worth a try! They are soooo much cheaper than other brands and I have found them to work sooo well, actually better than even Huggies!

In my experience, they perform better than Huggies, Baby Love and Coles nappies. They almost never leave any clear jelly on my baby, they keep him nice and dry, last through the night, and only 1 nappy leaked out of a whole pack of 56! This is a miracle as my little boy seems to aim his poo at every possible opening of his nappy and was constantly leaking out of other brands.

Summary: Great value, worth trying!
July 22nd, 2008

My son has ultra sensitive skin, and we've had so much problem with nappy rash trying out other products. Our friend recommended Mamia, which I felt a bit iffy at first as I thought it's only a cheap brand. Nevertheless, after trying, we never look back.

Look wise, it doesn't have the nicely trimmed, nicely fitted look that Huggies have, but who cares? It's only nappy! Most importantly, it fits well, and we never have leaks, except when we've left it on for too long, obviously. Oops! Even then, I'm very amazed at its absorbing capacity. It's definitely great value for money. I'm more than impressed and would recommend it to anyone.

July 14th, 2008

I shudder to think how much money i could have saved if i had bought mamia nappies instead of huggies for my little girl!! They r simply GREAT. I mean they r all boy coloured and have some nasty aussie wombat on them atm which looks like a poo through tights lol but who cares! they never ever leak- which i had probs with huggies, no rash probs, which i get with supermarket brands, and they are $15.99!!!!

I have a stash of cute huggies for special occasions etc but otherwise these r just great. Drive to Aldi now and buy them, its worth it.

Fantastic. I love them and the price. Great absorbancy. Was a bit standoffish at the start but once started using them have never looked back.

They were a little bit big for our newborn daughter, but within 3 weeks they started to fit. She is now 4 months old and I have never used another  brand of nappy!!

Buyer won't be disappointed!

Summary: Mamia nappies
June 9th, 2008

We used Huggies for a while when our first child was born and it was my mother-in-law who told me about the Aldi Mamia nappies. Then soem girls from my mother's group told me that i have to try them.

They are the best nappies going around. They have never leaked and they are thick and comfy.

You have to try them. The price is the just the best. Why pay double the price when these nappies are brilliant?

Summary: Leaks
May 2nd, 2008
These nappies didn't fit my daughter properly.  I had 5 leaks out of a pack of 56, my daughter has never had a nappy leak that badly before.  They are also very thick and bulky (great for absorbency but not so good for movement).

Summary: A great nappy range!
March 15th, 2008
Nothing but praise for this nappy range! We've used both the small and medium sizes thus far and are more than happy with the absorbency and value for money. I would have to rate the Aldi nappies up there with Huggies definately. My only criticism of the Aldi nappies is the trimness and fit - they are a little on the bulky/larger side but the pluses outweigh the minuses. Highly recommend these!

Summary: Best value & performance
March 4th, 2008
I used Aldi's Mamia brand from nappy stage right up to training pants and they were great. The pictures are amusing and even help kids learn back from front.

Don't get me wrong, Huggies is a great brand and I always buy their unscented wipes but, when it comes to nappies, its not worth shelling out the extra money when Mamia does such a good job.

Just don't forget to take your token or $2 for your trolley if you have a bub or toddler that needs a trolley and remember to take your own bags because I always seem to go in for a couple of things and come out with a trolley load.

Summary: The BEST and the CHEAPEST
December 15th, 2007
The BEST nappy that my daughter has ever used, much better than Huggies! So cheap too. We only discovered these nappies when she was 10 months (she's now 23 months), I wish I had known about them earlier we would have saved soooo much money. They don't leak very very absorbent, she has never had a rash from them (unlike other leading brands), they look great (they have pictures on them), very easy to put on and the sticky things don't come off and very good value for money!

Summary: Great nappy, great value
October 14th, 2007
I work at a childcare centre and changing nappies is a huge part of my job. Would say that Adli's is the best nappy with Huggies a close second. Aldi's have seemed to be a little more bulkier at the crotch (don't taper in like the Huggies) however recently I have noticed that they have improved their design and now do so.

I have used both Aldi and Huggies nappies interchangeably on my daughter and have found that she actually leaks more in a Huggies nappy.

Must say that although I love Winnie the Pooh characters when my daughter wears lighter coloured clothes the huge pictures on the Huggies nappies show through (looking like giant poo stains!). I still get Huggies nappies when they are on sale, but there is no comparing with Aldi's for the value for money. Can someone tell me why the bigger the nappy size you need, the less you get and for the same price? (Huggies drop by 20 nappies from one box to the next!?)

Summary: dont waste $ on huggies!
September 25th, 2007
The best value nappy on the market. DONT waste money on huggies!! these nappies hold well. i have only ever had a couple of leaks when DS1 was about 8 months old... and never since. I did initially think that they dont seem to fit as snugly as huggies, but they have more than proved themselevs over the last year that i have been using them. Not to mention the money you save!!! Now that i have 2 bubs 12months apart, im not spending much more on nappies for 2 bubs than i did for 1 when i used huggies - even when theyre on special!!

try them, you wont be disappointed.

Summary: absolutely love these
September 24th, 2007
as far as a disposable goes, nothing beats these nappies.

I have had not one complaint with any use of tihs nappy. I have used them on younger bubs over night, toddlers overnight and my 4 yr old overnight and never had a problem. Actually I have a few complains about huggies which are apparently 'the best' but not a single one about aldi nappies!

the price is fantastic, the quality is incredible, and they even have cute little prints on them!

absolutely rapt!

Hands down the best disposable on the market at the moment :D

Summary: Aldi;s Mamia Nappies
September 6th, 2007
Aldi's Mamia's are by far the best nappies i have ever used, i won't be going back to Huggies. My son has never leaked through one, and they didn't leave a rash on him, which surprised me because he has sensitive skin. They are the BEST!
