Congratulations! You are pregnant. Time to rest up and read up on your body and your growing baby!
Your baby is less than 2cm long but already the umbilical cord has formed and is busy supplying your baby with the nutrition it needs to grow.
Now is a good time to start considering your choice of care for the birth of your baby. Do you want to give birth in a birthing centre or hospital maternity unit?
Are you looking radiant? Your face might look fuller (due to fluid retention) but your skin is probably looking very healthy!
Are you craving some foods, while others make your stomach turn? This is your body making sure its needs are met.
Are your clothes starting to feel a little snug? That's because your
growing uterus is now too large to be contained in the pelvis and is
pushing up!
You're almost at the end of the first trimester so hopefully your
morning sickness will have started to subside so can can enjoy your
pregnancy.
Woo hoo! You're now into the second trimester - otherwise known as the 'best trimester'. Hopefully you'll be able to enjoy your pregnancy for a few months!
You've heard the saying 'eating for two' ... but this doesn't mean two slices of cake instead of one. A few extra peices of fruit a day is all you need.
Your might have to go shopping this week - it is probably time to put your favourite jeans away and find a new pair of favourites.
Do you feel a flutter? This is probably the sensation of your baby moving! Don't worry if you can't feel it yet ... soon they will be hard to mistake!
Your baby's organs are starting to function and their sense of hearing is developing! You might even feel baby react to a loud sudden noise!
Are you having a boy or girl? It is almost time for your morphology scan, when you can find out the sex of your little one ... if you want to, of course!
You've said goodbye to morning sickness but it is time to say hello to indigestion and heartburn. Make sure you eat small meals and chew well!
Guess what? You're halfway there! And if you're having trouble remembering which week you're at, don't panic ... it is probably just baby brain!
Time to stock up on brain food - your baby's brain is developing at this stage so you need to maintain a healthy diet, rich in calcium, iron and omega fats!
Your baby can now recognise your voice so it is a good time to start chatting, reading or singing to them. Time to brush up on your nursery rhymes!
Are you glowing? It could be a slightly higher core temperature or slight weight gain ... or it could be the inner glow of knowing of the miracle growing inside!
Practise makes perfect ... and your body will soon start practising for delivery. You may be feeling Braxton-Hicks contractions this week.
Might be time to give up your favourite curry - spicy food could be off the menu if you are suffering from indigestion ... a common pregnancy complaint.
The second trimester - often referred to as the 'best trimester' - is coming to an end. Make the most of it now!
Welcome to the third trimester!! The last leg of the journey is beginning and you need to train for the big event. Make sure you're fit and ready for birth!
More tests!?! This whole pregnancy business is starting to feel a little like high school ... complete with acne and hormone-fuelled emotional outbursts.
Does it feel like you've got a soccer player or a can-can dancer in there? Baby is moving heaps now but it will slow soon as it gets more cramped.
Can you even see your feet anymore? If you're lucky, you can't and therefore you won't notice them swell up like balloons.
Time to relax and take a deep breath ... if you can. By now your baby is putting pressure on your internal organs making it harder to breathe.
You've probably spent 32 weeks trying NOT to think about birth and labour but now it is time to make plans ... a birth plan!
Pregnancy might be starting to be a bit of a pain these days ... a pain in your back! Make sure you maintain good posture and rest up!
It may be getting harder to get comfortable in bed these days. Try lying on your left side and remember ... you can never have too many pillows!
Time to catch up with friends and get your nursery organised. Luckily you can do both at once if you let your friends throw you a baby shower!
Many of you will be finishing up at work this week for a well-earned break before baby arrives. Just make sure you're resting more than nesting!
Make the most of the next few weeks as things are about to change forever! Time to eat out, cook and freeze some meals and rest those swollen feet.
It is time to rest up - you'll need some extra hours in the sleep bank for when baby arrives! Make sure you're organised so you can rest.
You're coming to the business end of your pregnancy so it is time to get the paperwork in order. Time to make sure you're happy with your birth plan!
You are probably well over this whole pregnancy caper by now. Don't worry ... you're nearly there. It won't be long until you are holding your new baby!
