Top 4 manual breast pumps

top4manualbreastpumpsaccidentally used a manual breast pump … wait a minute … that sounds like I fell over and landed on one while not wearing a shirt – which is dumb.

Although not quite as dumb as what I ACTUALLY did. I bought an electric pump for more than $200 and after using the very first time I immersed it in water. Yep – even though one of the first things in the instruction manual is “DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER”. Clearly I was suffering from an expensive case of baby brain and sleep deprivation.

Luckily for me the electric pump could easily transform into a manual pump. Unluckily for my wallet – as if I’d bought the manual pump in the first place I could have saved about $150.

Anyway – here are the Top 4 Manual Breast Pumps as reviewed by you in our parenting reviews section.

“This is a breastpump I use a lot, I have found expressing manually better these days. Also, it can fit several brand of bottles I have tried because of the adjustable collar. It is easy to use and easy to handle.” – katetaylor

“I love this pump. Ive used other manual and electric pumps but this is my favourite! It’s very easy to assemble, wash and use. I also love that you can freeze the milk into the bottles or the containers that fit right into the bottles. A fantastic manual pump that I would recommend to anyone.”- qtkiwi

4. Medela Manual

“The pump did do its job though, was very tiring to use, and is definately a two-handed process. One good thing about it was that it fitted any standard baby bottle, and also was easy to attach the special milk bags to store the milk in the freezer, saved a lot of room. The pump is easy to take apart and clean/sterilise.” – Shakey
