The Ultimate Zumba Challenge – Week 2

It wouldn’t be called a ‘challenge’ if it was easy. And life is always going to get in the way, despite the best intentions.

Still, despite sleep deprivation, illness, family emergencies and the temptations of fast food and social events, our challengers are going from strength to strength. Let’s peek into their Zumba Challenge diaries to see how they’re going!

The Zumba workouts are giving most of the challengers more energy during the day and in some cases, even helping them sleep at night! Others have reported feeling more positive about life in general since beginning the challenge! They are inspired to eat better and live better. Their families are noticing (and enjoying) the newfound ‘sunny’ disposition as well.

The challengers also report that the Zumba routines are fun to do and many are finding that there’s no need to entertain the children while they exercise – the kids love it too and are very willing to be mum’s back-up dancers.

They are also noticing that certain muscles are sore after a workout – but mostly not in a debilitating way, just enough so they can feel it working.

And there’s been more awesome stats to report as well – anewme has lost 7.6kg so far and 9cm from her waist! Awesome work!
