Leak-free and under control with Coles Little Explorer nappies

Close-up of Coles Little Explorer nappy on a young toddler. As a mum of four young children (six years and under) I have changed my fair share of nappies, for 18 long months I even had 3 children in nappies at the same time!

After trying a long list of disposable nappy brands I finally settled on a favourite but I’m always up for a challenge so I was pretty excited to join the Coles Big Nappy Change.

When it comes to selecting the right nappy for my child I want it to tick all the boxes: it needs to be reliable during the day AND night, it needs to have a nice snug fit with a high back and tabs that can be adjusted, it needs to be soft and comfortable against my baby’s skin, it needs to be flexible to allow easy movement for my always active baby and of course it needs to be affordable too.

My first impression of the new Coles Little Explorer nappies (RRP $9.99 per convenience pack, Newborn to Junior) is that they are much thinner and more compact than I expected. Thick, bulky nappies not only restrict baby’s movement, they also take up more room in their clothes and in your nappy bag. The new Coles Little Explorer nappies are nice and slim so our daughter can move around freely.

hiplittleone-image3Our daughter is tall and trim for her age so it can be hard to find a nappy that fits properly around her waist and legs but the Coles Little Explorer 3-Way Active Fit Design is perfect. The waistband is soft and stretchy and reaches high at the back to contain any mess, the tabs can be closed nice and tight and stay ‘sticky’ even after adjusting a few times. The elasticised cuffs seal beautifully around her legs without digging into her skin and leaving red marks so I know her nappy won’t bother her, especially during a long stretch at night.

I always thought our current nappies were soft but the Coles Little Explorer nappies are noticeably softer, the soft touch from the quilted top sheet really has a fabric feel to it.

During the 5 days of the Big Nappy Change challenge I have noticed my daughter has no redness, chafing or any signs of nappy rash so Little Explorers have definitely passed the comfort test for us.

My conclusion after taking the Big Nappy Change challenge? The great fit, reliable seals (no leaks during our test period) and permanent affordable pricing make Coles Little Explorer disposable nappies a fantastic nappy choice and I will purchase them with confidence.

You can find the Coles Little Explorer nappy range in the baby aisle of your local Coles store and at Coles online.
