Swim Australia: Swim for Life

Swim Australia registers Swim Schools that meet standards as determined by the Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association and is endorsed by Swimming Australia and Kids Alive.

Children need to learn how to swim well from a very early age; resulting in lifelong health, safety, fun and fitness.

A strong emphasis is placed on water safety skills as we believe swimming and water safety lessons are a key ingredient in the drowning prevention process - particularly for infants and preschoolers. Lessons are not a replacement for proper barriers and supervision though.
