Public cord blood collection services are generally only available at the hospitals we have listed. If your hospital is not listed, it is still worth calling them to see if they can arrange for a collection kit to be sent to them. Further information can be found on the AusCord website, the national network of umbilical cord blood banks in Australia. Collection times and days at public cord blood facilities may also be limited due to the specialist nature of the equipment required for the correct collection and screening of cord blood.
