The Community Child Health Service run child health clinics and newborn drop-in centres provide regular appointments and baby check-ups, parenting courses, breastfeeding help, baby feeding help, childhood immunisation clinics and specialist services when you need some extra help and advice over the telephone. Some clinics offer self-weigh facilities too.  Most of these services are offered free of charge to residents of Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Cairns and all other regions of Queensland..

Do call to check opening hours as some centres operate restricted hours, particularly in rural areas. 

Parenting help and support is available over the telephone 24 hours, 7 days a week by phoning 13Health ( 13 43 25 84 ).
