child health maternal and child health clinics - brisbane  

The Community Child Health Service run child health clinics provide regular appointments and baby check-ups, parenting courses, breastfeeding help, baby feeding help, childhood immunisation clinics and specialist services when you need some extra help and advice over the telephone. Some clinics offer self-weigh facilities too.  Most of these services are offered free of charge to residents of Brisbane.

Call the central booking number for appointments, details of drop-in baby weigh centres, or more information on 1300 366 039. 

There are Early Feeding Support Clinics available at Kallangur and Alderley (for the first two weeks after hospital discharge for new babies).  Drop in Monday to Friday 9am-12md no appointment required.  Closed public holidays.  Contact details are in the list below.  Additional Infant Feeding Support is available for babies upto 6 months of age, call the central booking number for appointments on 1300 366 039.

Parenting help and support is available over the telephone 24 hours, 7 days a week by phoning 13Health ( 13 43 25 84 ).
