Hi,

I had Maxolon this time as I wasn't going through what I did with bub #2! It took me till I was hospitalised this time to actually get something to help as I had a 3yr and a 10mth to look after!

I found it to be a big help and have had such a good pregnancy again!

Hi everyone
I had servere moning sickness with my 2nd child and had Maxalon by tablet and injection. Unfortunatly neither helped and I had to be hospitalised a few times. In the end I was given Zofran a much stronger drug usualy used for people undergoing chemotherapy. I too was a little concerned about what effect it could have but my little boy is a healthy 6mth old now.

Default maxolon

hi, i am in my 14th week and have been on maxolon on and off since my 6th week of pregnancy. have had no problems with the prgnancy so far and maxolon helps me keep food down. i am also sick trhoughout the day and if i dont take my maxolon i cant even keep water down. but i take one table just before i go to bed at night and it lasts the whole day! my fetus growth is normal and it helps to know that one of you have taken maxolon and it hasnt' affected your child in any way. that's comforting.

but i do hope this nausea will end soon, it's a horrible, horrible feeling!

i had to use it for the first 20 weeks with my first bub and then had to use it for the first 15 weeks with my second. It seemed to help if I took it before I got to bad but if I waited then it didn't seem to work and I would end up in hospital hooked up to the drip.
It is safe while pregnant, I say use it if you need to.

Default Maxalon

Hi

I used Maxalon for a different reason. My baby was born 10 weeks early. I could not produce enough breast milk for expressing. My lactation consultant told me to see my doctor and get maxalon. After taking maxalon for a few days my milk doubled in quantity.

Question

I was just reading what mandymoo said and was just wondering if maybe that is why I had so much milk when I had my boys. I had enough for twins when I had Angus and twice that again when I had Caleb.

Default Maxolon

Hi all sick mums to be !!

I too just discovered that I can take Maxolon. Took first tablet last night after another horrible day of nausea/vomiting. I am 8 weeks in and finding that everyone has an opinion on Pregnancy. Now, I am finding everyone has an opinion about morning sickness and Maxolon. My Doctor and local Chemist both agree that Maxolon is fine. But then older mum's say 'oh no, don't take anything, soldier through'. Maybe I am a naive new mum to be, but I think that if you need something (of course that is permitted by Doc) then take it with common sense. That is what I am going to do. How am I meant to nourish baby if I can't eat !!!!! So what is worse, a tablet that has been recommended or starving myself and bub !!! Anyway...... those are just my thoughts. I hope there are others out there that feel the same!!
