Default Unprescribed Clomid

Hi ladies

I dont konw if this is the right place to put this thread but im sure it shouldnt matter. I have a friend who is 21 and wants to concieve twins she has purchased un prescribed clomid off the internet and is now asking me for instructions on how to take it.

I dont know what to do, there is a reason that you have to go to a doctor to get clomid its a pretty powerfull drug and i dont think she should be taking it without the right supervision. Am i right or just over reacting what should i do i have no worries telling her that i think she is an idiot for doing it i just want to know if others think this is as big of a deal as i do.

I wouldn't tell her anything, actually I lie I would tell her to "GO SEE A B*****Y DR". Sorry for yelling Krystal but I agree with you it's pretty stupid thing to do.

What you should do is pretend you want to buy some too and report the seller of them to the police.

I have a friend who wanted to get preggas in a hurry to avoid losing her man...she got preggas with triplets and they broke up when she was 7 months pregnant anyway

Obviously she thinks this will be a sure way to fall pregnant with twins... I have conceived twice on clomid, have twins in my family and both times only had one bubba in there...

I would do what mummycloud suggested... pretend you are interested and then report the seller...

In saying that I was just chatting to my best friend who is a pharmacist and she doubts that she would be able to buy it from a seller here in australia as it was more likely a american seller...

Bit of a worry though...

Tricky.... Every docotor is different when it comes to using it anyway...

If it were me I wouldn't tell her... I would tell her if she wants to use them ask her doctor for what to do!

My understanding is that it's not that expensive anyway..???? So why wouldn't she just go and see a doctor? oh, I get it... because a doctor might not give it to her.

Very dodgy, Krystal. Don't get involved. Tell her she's nuts.

When buying things like this online you're flirting with danger. There is no guarantee that what is actually sold is what's in the medication IYKWIM. I just hope she realises this. I'd be making noises about going to a Dr.

I wouldn't be helping her find a way to take it effectively. Unless she is having trouble conceiving, she should leave it alone. If she is having trouble, she should seek medical advice for appropriate treatment.

She shouldn't be trying to conceive twins - the chances of miscarriage or complications are higher than for a singleton pregnancy.

I wouldn't be touching that with a ten foot pole! Especially if they come from India. Usually, well in my experience, generic brand medication looks very similar to non-generic. I wouldn't be worried about whether or not she will get twins, i'd be worried that they weren't clomid at all!
