Default No worse than stubbing your toe!

I just thought I would write a few words about my very easy, drug free labour after being scared half to death by so many horror stories when I was expecting.( I was once told to imagine the worst pain possible so I was having visions of having my foot sawn of with a blunt knife.)

My beautiful little girl only took 2 hours from 1st contraction to arrive.
I wouldn't say labour was any worse than a slight hangover & people get them all the time & still continue to go out drinking time & time again.
Hope this can help to ease a first time expectant mothers nerves.

WOW you make it sound almost fun

I wouldn't say my labors were horrible...just a little worse than a hangover...but worth every minute of each one

Question id rather a hangover any day!!!!!

I guess it wasnt too bad for you with only a 2 hour labour, but i gotta say id rather a hangover any day!

i was in labour for 12 hours and even though i had the epidural, at one stage it wore off and it was awful!

looking back now, i wouldnt say i dont want to do it again because the end result is great, but if there were anothere way.........

Both of my recoveries were pretty much exactly that!!

I loved being in labour both times and it is nice to know I am not the only one who had a good experience

Lucky you!! I prayed for that kind of labour and did heaps of preparation to help me relax, but I've gotta say it hurt like hell!
