Default lentils

I cooked up a whole packet of lentils for my dd to add to her veges.

I have heaps of them though and was just wondering is there any other way I could use them.

Usually I would just add them to a stew while it was cooking but I haven't done anything with them before when they are already cooked.

Any ideas would be welcomed.

Thanks,
Michelle

Hey Michelle, i don't have an answer for you sorry, as i haven't ever had them before, but do you mash them up to put in their vege's when they are little like Charlee? They're really good nutritionally aren't they?

Not sure how old your bub is, and what food stage she is at, but lentils make great little patties - like hamburgers - when made with some mashed potato, sweet potato, peas - anything you like really. Fry in a bit of olive oil or use canola / olive oil spray.

My dd is 9 mths old so she could have these. I think my older son would maybe even eat them.
