Default Phoenix arrived 2/9/05

Hi all, for those of you that read my birth story about tykeal and thought that was good, my second was better.

well Phoenix-Jayde Kyah Whan was born on Friday September 2nd 2005 at 7.21 am after getting to the hospital at 5.15am. I went to hospital as i wasn't sure if i was in labour or not (after not knowing with my first it was better safe than sorry) i woke at 4.30 am with the same niggling back pains i had been getting all through my pregnancy, went to have a shower, then decided to go to the hospital, when i arrived at the hospital they hooked me up to the monitor for half hour, then i needed to go to the loo, anyway had to be hooked up to monitor for another half hour so they could check if i was dialated, well the lady said to me that i would be in for a long hard labour that day as baby was prosterior (spine on my spine) then my MIL asked if i was dialated, the nurse said i was a little bit. well i asked to go for a shower, so they moved me from assessment room to birth suite. went for shower at 7am, then yelled out to my hubby (aargghh) when he came rushing in, i was laughing and said i think my waters just broke. as i had the urge to push so i did and out popped the sack and it burst on the floor in front of me, well there was no midwife around, so hubby had to go get one, as she walked through the door she had to catch a baby cos 2 pushes and she was out. No Drugs only 2 contractions and a little bit of pain.
she weighed 8p 3ounces and was 53 cm long and we went home at 2pm that same afternoon.
