Does anyone know how to make baby custard. I saw the thread on making baby jelly and I'm going to make some next weekend but I also want to make baby custard. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure what you mean by baby custard - I make custard for my girls using Poppy custard powder and full cream milk - mixed with mashed banana is always a big hit!

I use the Heinz powder for 6 months+ you can then make it up with formula, whole milk, water or breast milk..my DS loves it with banana too!

I just use normal custard powder but make it a thicker consistancy.
Mine is made up normally using 2 Tablespoons of powder 1 Tablespoon of sugar & 500mls of milk so i make it up this way. 2 Tablespoons of powder 1/4 Tablespoon of sugar ( as i dont want bubs having too much ) & 400mls of formula & he LOVES it hehehe i often just make it in half batches that way its all used over a couple of days Good luck !
