Pregnant volunteers in perth needed to help out midwifery student!

Hi there,
I am looking for pregnant women who are under 35 weeks to volunteer and help out a midwifery student. I am studying midwifery at university and as part of my course we have 'continuity of care experiences'. In other words, we have the privilege in experiencing your pregnancy with you. (by attending your antenatal appointments, your birth, as well as postnatal appointments with you)

At these appointments, the midwife or GP may allow me to take your blood
pressure, pulse, do an abdominal palpation (feeling your tummy). And If I am lucky enough to attend your birth, and if the midwife allows me, it would be great if I could be part of some of the hands-on involvement in regards to the birth.

This may sound like a lot to take in, but generally, I am there as an extra support person, and ONLY VIA YOUR CONSENT, would I be able to have hands-on involvement. The women that have been involved in these experiences in the past have told me that they thoroughly enjoyed my presence there, as I have developed a great rapport with them, and have become more of a friend, rather than a student ‘following’ them through their pregnancy.

Please take time to consider being involved in this experience, as not only will it be a great help, but also a great learning experience for me.
