Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend any baby toys for a baby 0-6mths.
I'm feeling really guilty as bubs has so many clothes but no toys and I'm not sure what's good and what's not.

We had the Tiny Love play mat which was fantastic from when bub was first born all the way through to about 4 months - he used it every day !
I also bought an inflatable play ring (off Ebay) when he was about 4-5 months that he could sit in and play with the things attached to the sides.![]()
DS - Our big school boy
DD - Our miracle little girl
Angel babies - 3 gorgeous souls watching over us all
Other than a play mat, anything Lamaze or Fisher Price in the appropriate age group. MJ has always been easy to please, she loves toys ofcourse but boxes & coke bottles are always winners

My family is complete!!!!Duct tape is like The Force, it has a dark side, a light side & holds the universe together
A playmat/gym is definately a must. Rattles that shake and have parts to move/spin are also good. My DS has a dragonfly with crinkly wings that he had on his rocker that he just loved up until 6 mths or so. Babies also seem to love mirrors.
My bub's faves...
Playmat - ditto to what the others said. There's a heap out there so find one you like that looks stimulating and it'll do the trick.
Rattles/teethers - basically anything bright that can go in the mouth. HARD rattles are great, bub didn't really like the soft ones so much, the hard is good for teeth/gums etc.
Anything that crinkles, squeaks, rustles, rattles etc... faves are lamaze's INCHWORM and tiny love's ACTIVITY BALL/JACK-IN-THE-BOX. Inchworm is fine from birth.
Pumpkin patch have beautiful and soft toys. I have a little lion for DS and he loves it. They're very inexpensive.
Hope this helps. Good luck with bub!

I liked the Lego baby range.
It has blocks which are colourful that rattle, and when baby is older, they double as a stacking toy.
DS loves the Playgro rattles and teethers...
We also have a very big variety of Fisher Price toys, that he loves... Basically anything that makes noise is a winner...
Our favourites here were the baby play gym that had lots of interesting dangly things and a Lamaze octopus which had different textured bits on the ends of the tentacles. That was a real favourite.
My must haves were definetly the playgym mat or there is now the donut play gym which looks pretty good. soft toys for them to cuddle, inflatible cylinder with balls inside that they can roll around.

We have all of the things everyone seems to be talking about also but like RB my bubs fav things are boxes paper & bottles !
We also got shown how to make some basic toys at our mothers group was really easy & you dont have to spend any money !
I was just telling another mother on this thread http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...ead.php?t=9809
As long as they make noises which arent too startling pretty much anything is a winner ive found![]()
