    Default What do you do?

Just wandering what everyone does with their toddlers when they have a shower etc?

I have difficulty grasping the concept of being in the shower and not hearing what's going on, or knowing where she is / what she is getting into!

If my DH isn't home and she is awake, I put her in the cot with a few books. She quite likes this however I'm not sure what to do when she goes from a cot to a bed.

I take her in with me. She wears a big hat so the water doesnt get in her eyes, and she just sits in the bottom till im done.

my ds hates the shower. i put the telly on, shut the doors to the kitchen and the spare bathroom, and have my shower. i keep the ensuite door open so i can hear. he's pretty used to the routine and generally behaves himself.

I usually put a dvd on for peter and leave him be while i duck in for my shower. He cant get up to much in our house so i feel safe leaving him to amuse himself...

    OR

Some mornings if i wasnt able to bath him the night before, i bath him then jump in the shower while he's in there. That way he's getting clean and having fun and i can watch him while i enjoy my shower

Peter hates the shower as he hates water on his face hence why i dont bring him in with me.

I put both my kids in the bath while I shower most days.
On daycare days I try to bath them the night before then I leave them eating breakfast while I go shower. DH is usually still here on those mornings so I don't have to worry about them eating alone.
