    Nope...

we got ours from a bottle of kaluah and some serious 'twin kind of making behaviour' LOL... that's the stance I"m taking anyway.

We have no twins in our families at all... so we were SO SURPRISED when we heard we were having twins.... blew us away...

If you have a family history, mostly a maternal history, then you are at an increased chance of having twins yourself. These are mostly dizygotic or fraternal twins and not monozygotic or identical twins. This comes from the ability to ovulate more than one egg at any given point in ovulation.

Twins also are meant to skip a generation - thank goodness for that

Not sure you would have to do a google search, but I have 9 set's of twins on my side of the family. And most of these are girl/boy twins.
