Default How to fix roll-down blinds

DOes anyone know how to fix roll-down internal window blinds? You know the ones that you have to pull down a little and then do it again for them to come down? (not sure of the technical name!!).

One window has got stuck and will no longer come down. I have tried to hand roll it up a little but it just gets stuck.

Any advice would be much appreciated!! Thankyou!

Try this... this was a trick my MIL did with her blind.

Roll it up all the way. then Pull it all the way down again.

do this 3 times and it should start working again.

Apparently it's got something to do with a spring at the top...

I don't know if that's excatly right... but I think it's what she did

ETA: Here's a website I found Fixing roller blinds

Thank you! I can't budge it to try and roll it down, so I will take the advice from the site and take it off the window. (tomorrow!).

    Thank you!
