If anyone is looking for a place to buy or check out foods that are 'safe' for different allergies, try googling "allergy block food". I got a warning for posting websites, so didn't want to risk it again, but you will find it if you google it in australia,not world wide.
Also Anaphylaxis Australia are now selling wallet sized cards that list all the 'alternative' names for various allergic foods - about 15 of them I think - for $2.20each. We've bought them for us, as well as grandparents and other people we get together with often. Just helps with the shopping and helps to reinforce 'hidden' ingredients with people who don't deal with it every day.
