Default Qld water restrictions do you shower or bath yourself and kids everyday

Hi I am interested in what other qld familes are doing to cut back there water usage.

How often do you shower/bath yourself and kids. Is it everyday or every second etc??

    ewww .. umm

if Jack was a newborn .. it would probably be every other day ..

but since I work .. and get covered in sweat and icky stuff .. and he is a normal male toddler .. we are both in desperate need of a shower EVERYDAY

we have a timer .. and a water saving shower head .. and he showers with me ..

that is the best we can do

Oh im glad im not the only one. I couldnt bear to go a day without a shower. Sometimes ds will have a bath at night depending on how grubby he is throughout the day. Is that too much do you think. I am now recycling all bath water for my gardens.

omg - are you joking. of course we bath/shower every day. i shower twice a day when i go to the gym or have been exercising. we are well under the 140lt per person per day limit.

we water the garden with grey water only. i make the kids bath - everyday - more shallow. less sink water for the dishes. i was going to also keep a bucket in the shower to catch the water while i was waiting for the hot water to come through. i turn off the water when i'm in the shower shaving my legs.

I'm not from QLD but thought I'd answer. My DD is 7 months old and I still use her little plastic bath tub with about 3 inches of water in it rather than use the big bath. I bather her about twice a week.

Hub and the kids usually all bath together.

I have my shower in the morning, turn the tap off when i soap up ,and turn back onto wash off.

We don't use much water in this house. We try to wear our clothes three to four times before we wah them.well some of them.
