Wiggles - help please!!

ok .. so .. we love the wiggles ..

Jack and I went to last years concert .. and despite being in row z .. he was captivated (it was at boondal .. so row z isn't too far back) ...

my question -

how can I get tickets as early as possible??

when are they released?

I dont want to miss out .. and I would LOVE to be closer to the dance areas for kids this year

have a look on the wiggles website they tell you when the tickets are released. I booked online thru ticketek as soon as they were open. Make sure you know which seats u want to book tho

I have joined up at their site .. but they aren't due in brissie till close to Christmas .. so the concerts aren't listed yet ..

I tried to get some tickets but they are sold out in melbourne for the July concert

Find out who they usually sell their tickets through (ie-ticketmaster) and register with them as a member as you get weekly updates of when tickets are on sale
Who knows, you may even be lucky enough to get some pre-sale tickets!

we went to this the other week, it was really good, very much worth going to

we got tickets to the wiggles in july. they dont always sell through ticket master or big ticket companies like that. we bought ours from revesby (sp) workers club. i think all the sydney show tickets were sold through that actual club they are going to be at.
i think if they are at a stadium or concet hall they will be through the ticket companies.


oh and to get tickets have about 3 mobile phones and you house phone and internet ready to go, they sell out fast. the internet and the more phones you have calling the more chances you have

Jen - I always get good tickets - my kids had Hot Potato ones this year, so will share my tips with you (and everyone else on the world wide web.)

The first tip is to sign up for the Qantas Frequent Flyer's emails about upcoming shows etc - costs nothing to join - but they do pre-sales of Wiggles shows. These tickets normally go on sale about a week before the rest of the tickets. They also sell out really quickly, so don't be disappointed if you don't get any - but it is good practice for when the rest of them go on sale.

On the day that tickets go on sale you need to be registered with Ticketek in advance, be logged on, and at precisely 9am you need to put in your ticket request. This will guarantee you good seats. My other tip is DON'T offer to buy tickets for everyone else - the smaller the booking, the better the seats you will get.

Familiarise yourself with the seating plan by playing with it when the Qantas ones go on sale - that way you will know which seats you are happy to accept when you are buying them.

Hmmmm.....those are my main tips. Oh - and the tickets for the Christmas concert normally go on sale in late June, early July. Closer to the dates check the Ticketek website for when they will be on sale.

Are you willing to travel a bit out of the way?

We are in Canberra and we were going to go to the Sydney concert last year, but all the good seats were sold out. Then my SIL suggested Woolongong and OMG we got A section seats, 12 rows back. Right in the middle of the stage AWESOME!!!!! But you know I think it would have been fab if we had the 'cr@p' seats

Noah got to give his roses for dorothy straight to jeff, we got to dance along right in front of the stage it was the best. Scott said he thought I was more excited then noah, and he was probably right

So my advise is if there is a venue that is a bit less busy try that

Thats why i am annoyed the july tickets are at a smaller more personal venue this time round so ideal...if i could get in lol

Glad to hear dorothys is good though! Do you know saw the wiggles live for $5 when dd was like 1 or something wow how times change and this was in a small hall in the country lol
